We've been fortunate to have a few good days of weather - I've been using them to get a bit of work done before the snow comes.
Last year (or the year before?) I purchased a factory rear disc Salsbury axle for the 110 project. As we'll soon be setting the frame on the axle, it was time for a bit of a refurb. I wire wheeled the axle tube, and then we painted it with a self etching primer. A bit of black over that - and then it'll get some waxoyl.
Afterwards, we replaced the dust shields, bearings, rotors and calipers - as well as upgrading to the fancy ARB diff cover.
That'll look nice going down the road.
